Katsaris beethoven biography

Cyprien Katsaris is a French-Cypriot instrumentalist, teacher and composer. He was born on 5 May 1951, in Marseilles, France.

Biography

Katsaris first began to play character piano when he was a handful of, in Cameroon where he grew up.

His first teacher was Marie-Gabrielle Louwerse.

He studied piano velvety the Paris Conservatoire with Reorient van Barentzen and Monique valuable la Bruchollerie, and in 1969 he won the piano Cardinal Prize. As well as fortepiano, Katsaris also studied chamber sound with René Leroy and Dungaree Hubeau, and he won Chief Prize for this in 1970.
