Coby Whitmore

American painter and illustrator (1913–1988)

Maxwell Coburn Whitmore[1] (June 11, 1913 – October 12, 1988)[2] was an American painter and publication illustrator known for his Saturday Evening Post covers, and elegant commercial artist whose work numbered advertisements for Gallo Wine playing field other brands.

He additionally became known as a race-car deviser.
